An open letter to climate activist gretta thunberg.

Hi gretta, my name is eshel ozer and i’m 29 years old guy from israel.
Iv’e read that you are on a sabatical from school and was starteled by the though that for the sake of so-called “proper education” you might come back to school at the end of the year, i decided to write you a letter in order to motivate you to not do so.

a standart school, is relevant for teaching standart skills, for people who are destined to be the operators of society.
a school, no school, is abled to teach the molders of society

In a famous ted talk, an entrepreneur named avi yaron tells about how he came to develop ground breaking equipment for advanced brain surgery – it happend because he was diagnosed with brain cancer – and as a result the pain directed him to learn everything that is needed in order to find the solution that helped milions.

this is the natural way to learn, for the fact is that knowledge is too vast to be learned effectivly with the way schools are constructed.

real learning comes from the curiosity to solve a problem – as a result a person gets the motivation to find the knowledge and the intelectual integrity to strive for the truth.

some cynical people say, that you need to return to school to learn so you could understand climate change, this is as wrong as it can get – in order to understand climate and society there is no better school than what you are doing now! you have no need in a school or university diploma,

gretta your time is now!, every journey is embarked wih great certainty and leads to knowledge and shades of grey, from your position, you have unmatched recourses to become the best climate profesional a human can be, you are a model for curiosity, integrity

imagine this whole journey is a dream, you wake up in a classroom where you spent the last year, isn’t it the worst nightmare? for me it is, for the world is sadder without your courages acts

For me you are a voice of logic and integrity, and you carry a massage many of us hold, i thank you for delivering it
